Colchester Art Program 2026

Purpose: The purpose is to give more awareness to the art and artists of Colchester County. This show would display, depending on the number of artists, a maximum of three submissions per artist for the public and Selection Committee to view.

Artwork Theme: Your artwork should be inspired by Colchester County of visual arts, which reflects the historic and artistic development of Colchester County and its artists.

Deadline for Entries: All submission forms and a short bio must be submitted to Colchester Recreation by Friday, October 23, 2026. Email: recreation@colchester.ca or Mail to: Colchester Recreation, 1 Church St, Truro, NS, B2N 3Z5 or Fax: 902-843-4065

Art Drop Off: All works of art will be displayed at the NSCC McCarthy Hall for the month of November. Deadline for artwork drop off is Monday, November 2, 2026 between 9:00 AM-12:30 PM at the NSCC McCarthy Hall, Library 36, Arthur St, Truro. All Artwork must be pre-hung.

Art Pick Up: All works of art are to be picked up on Friday, November 27, 2026 between 9:00- 12:30 PM

Art Show: Art show will take place Tuesday, November 17, 2026 at 6:30 PM. The winning selection will be purchased by the County and displayed at the County Courthouse at 1 Church St.
